Nº10 – Oprah Winfrey
Born in Mississippi to unwed teenage mother in 1954. After a difficult adolescence with her mother, where she suffered from sexual and physical abuse, things improved for her when she turned 18 and won the Miss Black, Tennessee beauty pageant. By 1986, the Oprah Winfrey show was syndicated over more than 100 channels across the country and she was a phenomenon.
She owns eight homes, my question is – How much time she spend in each home? It’s impossible! However the homes are stunning!!!

After she bought the home, she give her own touch of luxury by splashing out on some pricey refurbishment, installing a state-of-the-art home cinema, a man-made lake with exotic fish as well as the house having has eight bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, 10 fireplaces, a tea house and a guest house.
The unique feature of this mansion is a structure built for the express purpose of shielding Oprah from the infrequent Santa Barbara showers. Oprah’s collection has grown to include scores of gorgeous coffee-table books. Winfrey ferociously guards the privacy of her home and doesn’t allows shutterbugs to disturb the serenity of the place.
The guesthouse next to the mansion, tented study—with its Biedermeier desk, blue leather Art Deco tray table, lotus-and-peony-patterned rug, and fabric-tented ceiling—is now presided over by a gorgeous, panting Labrador that had once hung at Oprah’s farmhouse. Marita Bradley Designs handcrafted all the upholstery and pillows with fabrics by Jane Shelton from Holly Hunt. The custom-dyed Scroll rug is from Atelier Lapchi; the étagère table and desk lamp are from Vaughan.
